Through music copying, also known as typesetting or digital engraving I transform your hand-written music into clean, legible scores which can then be printed and/or shared electronically.

I have copied many scores for professional publication by The Avondale Press, including works by such eminent composers as John Beckwith, Leslie Uyeda, Rodney Sharman and Jean Coulthard. I was also engaged to typeset many works by Barbara Pentland for the Canadian Music Centre.

My standard rate is $20 per page based on an average of 8 staves per page.

For very simple scores I charge less, usually $12 per page.

Complex scores would be $25 – $30 per page.
